KIWI & SPINACH BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Vibrant green smoothie in a glass jar topped with kiwi, coconut flakes, and chia seeds

Nutritious green smoothie with fruit and spinach — a true Trojan horse for parents: kids love the sweet taste and have no clue it’s packed with greens.

Hey everyone, André here with a new smoothie recipe. This one’s super fresh and vibrant, made with kiwi, banana, passion fruit, spinach, and chia seeds — an unusual combo that gives you a solid energy boost first thing in the morning.

Like any good smoothie, it’s quick to make and perfect for when you want something light but still filling and nourishing. The tartness of the kiwi and passion fruit is nicely balanced by the sweetness of the banana, while the spinach and chia seeds do their job in the background, adding an extra bit of goodness (without messing with the flavour, promise!). It’s funny how green smoothies can taste so different… Have you tried our Pear, Avocado & Frozen Greens Smoothie? Totally different vibe!

We often go for smoothies on mornings when we want a nutritious, satisfying breakfast without spending too much time in the kitchen. They always hit the spot and give us that sense of looking after ourselves with zero fuss. And as parents of a small kid, smoothies are our Trojan horses: Simão loves the fruity sweetness and has no idea how much spinach is hiding in there.
